All eyes in the racing world will be on South Florida this Saturday (January 27) for Pegasus World Cup at Gulfstream Park. The day features seven stakes races highlighted by the Grade 1, $3 Million Pegasus World Cup Championship Invitational and Grade 1, $1 Million Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational.

We (West Point Thoroughbreds and Woodford Racing) will be represented by our undefeated 4 year old colt Integration in the Pegasus Turf. The field has twelve entrants with two also eligibles. The also eligibles will only gain entry to the race if there are scratches among the main body of twelve entrants.
Integration enters the race off his convincing 5 length win in the Grade 2, $250,000 Hill Prince Stakes at Aqueduct Racetrack in November. Prior to the Hill Prince Stakes, he won the Grade 3, $500,000 Virginia Derby at Colonial Downs in September.
The race looks extremely competitive with last year’s Pegasus Turf Winner (Atone), a filly who most recently ran in Hong Kong (Warm Heart) and the first, second and third place finishers (Main Event, Kingsmax, Jerry the Nipper) from the Ft. Lauderdale Stakes (local prep race at Gulfstream Park) all in the field.
You can watch the race on NBC beginning at 4:30 PM (EST). Post time for the Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational is 4:55 PM (EST).
