Friends and Family

With Labor Day came the close of the Saratoga Racing Meet. The 2019 Meet was conducted as a five day racing week (Wednesday – Sunday) spread over eight weeks. Early indications are the “experiment” was a success, with a record established for all sources wagering. The New York Racing Association (NYRA) has already indicated the 2020 Meet will also be a five day racing week with a possible shift to Thursday – Monday.

We had five starters at the Meet with one winner. Anytime you can win at 20% at Saratoga you have to be pleased. The only thing more gratifying than visiting the winners circle was hosting friends and family each of the eight weekends. With guests from Scotland to Milwaukee, it was fun to expose them to Saratoga Racing and all that comes with it. There is nothing better than enjoying your Summer with friends and family!
